Description
Join us for lunch July 18 and get the inside information about city council election redistricting and the potential impact upon your business.
The Chamber is a unifying voice for regional issues and governmental affairs. Through our long standing relationship with local leaders and elected officials, our voice is not only heard, but sought out. Education is the first step.
Joni Balter will be speaking to us about the proposed city charter amendment that designate districts for 7 of the 9 city council members. This important initiative will be on our ballots this coming November and will dramatically impact how the city is governed. There will be plenty of time for members to ask questions and learn how this initiative would impact themselves and their businesses. Please join us for what should be a great discussion.
Joni, a veteran Seattle Times reporter, has been on the editorial staff 11 years. She is the political writer for the page, covering local, state, and national politics.
